It will be almost 6 years since visiting NYC. This Sunday I will be boarding a plane at 10:30 towards Boston. My destination is Pen Station, so I decided I was hopping on the greyhound. For a 3 1/2 hour drive, I plan to have music in my ears, find a pen in my hand, thinking about life. This Sunday I once again plunge into the unknown seeking adventure, expanding my spiritual nature of being free. Two full days in my hometown Queens, then off to Main for the adrenaline rush of white water rafting. The adventure doesn’t end but instead it moves forward into nature…centering…grounding…immersed in my life’s opposite. CAMPING!!!

Submersed into the everyday culture, it’s stimulus is all based around fear. Since our early programming, my thoughts tend to stick in the past like most people. Leaving all the chaos behind, it’s like I’m recharging my batteries with peace at mind. I view this as a retreat to gather my thoughts with the focus on the present. The future always comes sooner then we think which is why NOW is the best time. Looking forward into the future, I know and feel it’s exciting energy… What will NYC Air smell like? How much is a slice of pizza? How awake are the people I interact with? Do my old hangout spots look and feel the same? Fast food, fast people, fast cars…I’ll be in the fast lane. When it ends I will be glad, then I can move on to experience freedom and the growth of my roots.

I can already see the conclusion as I visit the future. A great day of sightseeing with friends in Boston just before I head home the next morning. I’ve heard its a wonderful place with historic neighborhoods, a diverse culture, and vitality. A shower taken, followed by a nice dinner then off to a clean fresh bed to catch some zzz’s. Boarding my plane I notice all that I leave behind. I smile… In the present I remind myself to keeping moving forward. Feeling grateful for all I have NOW, I am aware of my fulfilling future ahead. Cheers and go take a hike!

Throughout my journey in Life, I have become more aware each day of the power behind moving forward. I find myself doing many of the tasks that I procrastinate on or don’t like doing first, then reaping the reward later on. A great outlook when facing these challenges or “To-do” is to realize that change is constant.

Look all around you and begin to notice that everything is automatic including your body as a whole. Picture yourself as riding the wave of infinity through space while opened to infinite possibilities all around us. All we need to do is set something in motion and like Newton’s Law Of Inertia, an object in motion will stay in motion. Good or bad it applies to both. When making a decision ask yourself…Will this hurt me or will this help me? Daily, I ask people what they are doing for the day and many times I receive this answer… NOTHING! lol “An object at rest will stay at rest, forever, as long as nothing pushes or pulls on it”

The Life Force that governs everything in existence universally is also found present within ourselves, within our body’s. On a quantum level it’s called energy and from a theological standpoint it’s known as God. This is the Life Force that moves anything in and out of our lives. It’s the decision maker, the artist, creator, and lover.

Moving forward is to move in the direction of our dreams. Joseph John Campbell’s philosophy is often summarized by his phrase: “Follow your bliss.” So it is up to us individually to do what we necessarily don’t enjoy at the moment. Once the challenge is finished, we move on to new and bigger challenges with the feeling of satisfaction in our hearts. The bigger picture is under our nose just about to break the surface. Never give up! Never stop moving forward and FOLLOW YOUR BLISS =)

Absolutely one of the best motivational words I’ve ever heard! It’s so true. Everyone loves to win but only winners love the process. Its exactly about how you come back, how you deal with failures, because we always have more failures than success or you’re not trying. I love this speech

“When Things got hard, you started looking for something to blame. Like a Big Shadow.
Let me tell you something you already know…

The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently IF YOU LET IT…

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But It ain’t about how hard you hit… it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take and keep moving forward? THAT’S HOW WINNING IS DONE!

Now if you know what you’re worth, Go out and Get What Your Worth, But you gotta be willing to take the hits. And not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. COWARDS DO THAT AND THAT AIN’T YOU! YOUR BETTER THEN THAT.”
