Born in Miami,Florida in 1986, Brenda Presil started to take Art serious and wanted to make it a professional career at the age of 16. In high school she had AP art classes and learned all the fundamentals of basic drawing and explored new media. In 2005 she won first place award for the “Don’t let Alcohol be the Last Taste of Life” poster contest. After graduating from high school Brenda went on to start her Art education at Miami Dade Community College. In 2007 Brenda won first place in the “Emerging Artist of the Future” MDCC student Art show. After earning her AA/Art at MDCC she wanted to learn and develop more as a professional artist. In 2009 Brenda applied and got a scholarship at Ringling College of Art and Design. At RCAD she got a chance to find her own artistic style and developed a professional portfolio. Brenda is currently a sophomore illustration major at Ringling College of Art and Design.
